Nano 2016

Nano 2016

OMICS International invites all the participants across the globe to attend the 7th World Nano Conference during June 20-21, 2016 at Cape Town, South Africa. It provides a premier technical forum for reporting and learning about the latest research and development, as well as for launching new applications and technologies under the theme” Nanotechnology in honouring the past, treasuring the present and shaping the future”.

NANO 2016 attracts the outstanding scientists in chemistry, physics, mechanics, computer simulation, biomedical applications and advanced characterization techniques of nanostructured materials from all over the world. Coverage extends from basic research in physics, chemistry and biology, including computational work and simulations, through to the development of new devices and technologies for applications in a wide range of industrial sectors (including information technology, medicine, manufacturing, high-performance materials, and energy and environmental technologies).

Track 1: Nanomaterial particles and Applications

Nano scale particles have given scientists new tools to understand and take advantage of phenomena that occur naturally when matter or particles are organized at the Nano scale. These phenomena are based on quantum effects and other physical effects such as expanded surface. Particles which are created with dimensions of about 1–100 Nano meters, properties change significantly from larger scales. Quantum effects of the Nano scale is the concept of “Tunability” ,“tunnelling”.

Why in Cape Town?

Nano 2016 is an international platform for presenting research about marketing, exchanging ideas about it and thus, contributes to the dissemination of knowledge in marketing for the benefit of both the academic and business purpose. South Africa is one among the developing countries that have launched several nanotechnology national initiatives to strengthen her national capabilities in this field. South Africa the fastest growing market for Nanotechnology, South Africa launched the first nanotechnology innovation centers in 2007 at the CSIR and MINTEK. There are more than 50 tourist attractions in South Africa. And statistics shows the highest % of people visiting South Africa a most preferable destination for the Nano 2016 Conference.

Cape Town ranks third among the most populous urban areas in South Africa. It is also the provincial capital and primate city of the Western Cape. As the seat of the National Parliament, it is also the legislative capital of the country. As of 2014 it is the 10th most populous city in Africa and home to 64% of the Western Cape's population. Cape Town is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, reflecting its role as a major destination for immigrants and expatriates. In 2014, Cape Town was named the best place in the world to visit by both The New York Times and The Telegraph.
