Prof. Dr. Anatolie Sidorenko is specialized in the field of nanotechnologies and functional superconducting nanostructures. He is director of Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnologies Academy of Sciences of Moldova, author of over 400 scientific publications, 42 patents, the editor of 4 books published in “Springer”, the editor of two thematic series “Functional Nanostructures” of Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, associated editor of Moldavian Journal of the Physical Sciences, member of Moldavian Academy of Sciences, member of Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG).

Marilena Carbone has expertise in designed synthesis and functionalization of nanoparticles and their application to nanobiomedicine and electrochemistry. Other research-lines include the engeneering of metal oxide nanoparticles for water remediation and sanitation, phytosynthesis of nanoparticles and studies of tattoo inks. Graduated in chemistry with honor, received a PhD in Materials Science, gained experience in several labs Europe-wide and currently has a chair of inorganic chemistry at the university of Rome Tor Vergata. She covered the position of guest-editor-in-chief of the Journal of King Saud University – Science, Elsevier, and of the special issue “Environment friendly renewable materials” for Materials - mdpi.

Monika K. Grudzień completed her PhD in 2010 and it was rewarded in 2011. She is the Associate Professor at Department of Drug Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy with the Laboratory Medicine Division Medical University of Warsaw.

Han-Yong Jeon is a Geosynthetics/Technical Organic Materials Researcher and he was the 32nd President of Korean Fiber Society (2014~2015). He has published more than 881 proceedings in domestic and international conferences. He wrote 20 texts including 'Geosynthetics’ and also published 144 papers in domestic and international journals. He has won the awards of Marquis Who's Who-Science and Engineering in 2003~2018 and also, he got the 33rd Academy Award of Korean Fiber Society in 2006 and “Excellent Paper Award of 2012” by The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies.

Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Fecht completed his diploma in Studies of Applied Physics at Thesis in Materials Science, Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. He worked as a Professor of Metal Physics (C-3), University of Augsburg, Germany and Chaired Professor of Materials Science Technical University Berlin, Germany. Currently working as a Director EUREKA Cluster office "Metallurgy Europe" and Chaired Professor and Director “Institute of Micro and Nanomaterials” at Ulm University. He is a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.

After an experience in industrial R&D, Bernard Pelissier integrated CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) in 1994. His research activities are mainly focused on material science and surface characterisation. He first worked on massive crystalline growth and MOCVD deposition and then integrated LTM (Laboratoire des Technologies de la Microélectronique) in 2001 as XPS surface characterisation manager. His research interest focused on materials fundamentals studies for process development and contamination studies in clean room. He has been involved in several European collaborative projects in surface characterisation. Since 2005 he is interested in quasi insitu physico-chemical characterisation using vacuum transfer. He actually manages the IMPACT Equipex project “A 300mm quasi insitu advanced characterisation platform combining pARXPS, Raman and ellipsometry using vacuum transfer”, dedicated to studies at the frontier between process development studies and upfront research.

Dr. Chithrani did her PhD and postdoctoral studies at university fo Toronto, Canada. She was suppoeterd by many prestigeous scholarships such NSERC, OGS, OGGST, NSERC-PDF, and so forth throughtout her academic carrier. Currently, she is the director of the director of naoscince and technology development labotory at University of Victoria. Dr. Chithrani leverages nanotechnology to create innovations that advance the care of cancer patients. She is using gold nanoparticles as a radiation dose enhancer in cancer therapy. This work is featured on the cover of radiation research journal. This paper won the highest impact paper award in 2018 by COMP (Canadian association of Medical physicist). She has also developed three dimensional tumor models to optimize bio-nano interface in cancer therapy. This work is featured on the cover of Nano-Micro Letters journal. Dr. Chithrani is considered as one of the leaders in the field of nanotechnology and her publications have received over 7500 citations in few years. Dr. Chithrani has earned a strong international reputation for her innovative research through her many review articles, book chapters, and invited presentations. She is an associate editor of many nanotechnology based journals. Her passion is to develop smart nanomaterials to improve exiting cancer therapeutics. She believes that many side effects due to chemotherapy can be reduced by controlled delivery of anticancer drugs using smart nanomaterials.

Prof./Dr. Jean-Paul Lellouche (1981 PhD degree/education in Organic Chemistry field, University La Doua, Lyon - France) moved in October 2000 to the Bar-Ilan University (Ramat-Gan, Israel) - Department of Chemistry & Institute of Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials as a Full Professor in synthetic Organic Chemistry/Nano(bio)technology (July 2008) & recent Dpt Head (Oct 2017-July 2018). His main current R&D activities concern nanomaterials engineering science (magnetic/non-magnetic drug/siRNA & microRNA delivery systems, theranostic nanoparticles for human therapy). He authored 155 peer-reviewed scientific papers (2,528 citations), 15 patents, and 4 book chapters together with a recent start-up creation activity (January 2019 – NANODROPs project).

His main current R&D activities concern nanomaterials engineering science (magnetic/non-magnetic drug/siRNA & microRNA delivery systems, theranostic nanoparticles for human therapy)

Yoshitaka Okada completed his PhD degree in electronic engineering from the University of Tokyo. He is currently a Professor in the Department of New Energy at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of the University of Tokyo. His recent research interests include epitaxial film growth of low-dimensional quantum nanostructures as well as III-V-N dilute nitrides for applications to high efficient intermediate-band and hot carrier solar cells and multijunction solar cells. Dr. Okada is a member of the IEEE, Materials Research Society (MRS) and Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP). He has authored and co-authored over 200 refereed journal publications and over 230 international conference presentations.

His recent research interests include epitaxial film growth of low-dimensional quantum nanostructures as well as III-V-N dilute nitrides for applications to high efficient intermediate-band and hot carrier solar cells and multijunction solar cells.
