Nanotechnology in Biotechnology: Innovations for Life Sciences

Nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize biotechnology by providing new tools for drug discovery, genetic engineering, and diagnostics. This track will explore how nanomaterials are being used in the development of new therapeutics, gene delivery systems, and diagnostic platforms. Researchers will discuss the role of nanoparticles in enhancing the delivery of biologics, such as proteins and nucleic acids, and their use in targeted gene therapy. Presentations will cover the development of nanotechnology-based diagnostic devices, including Nano sensors and lab-on-a-chip technologies, that can detect diseases with high sensitivity and accuracy. The session will also address the ethical and regulatory challenges associated with the integration of nanotechnology into biotechnology, as well as the potential for these innovations to improve healthcare outcomes and disease management.
